Seven-year-old Devon Carrow of West Seneca, New York has severe food allergies . . . and he can't leave his house without risking a life-threatening reaction.  (--West Seneca is a suburb of Buffalo.)

--Devon was home-schooled last year when he was a kindergartener, but this year he enrolled in Winchester Elementary School.

--He participates in class . . . and he even leads the class in saying the Pledge of Allegiance each morning.  Even though he's not actually in the room.

--Devon has something called a VGo robot that attends class for him.  The robot has a video camera attached, so Devon can see everything that happens in the room . . . and the robot even rolls through the halls to attend assemblies.

--The VGo costs about $5,000 . . . and the school provides it.  Schools in Colorado, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania have also started using it.
