Back on October 6th, 49-year-old Brenda Crosdale of Vero Beach, Florida locked her keys in her car. She wanted help to get them, and she wanted that help to come as quickly as possible.
--So rather than call a locksmith or, I guess, smash a rock through the window, she decided to call 911 . . . and LIE. She called and told them there was a BABY locked in the car.
--The dispatcher classified her situation as a "priority one lockout" and sent a sheriff's deputy over immediately.
--When he got there, he realized there was no baby. And when someone who was standing nearby told him Brenda, quote, "only said that to get you guys here quicker," the deputy ARRESTED her for misdemeanor misuse of the 911 system.
