This is JUST about the best way to stop a burglar in his tracks. It's WAY better than an alarm system or a really mean dog . . . and probably better than a series of intricate traps like in "Home Alone".
Early Wednesday, a 26-year-old burglar broke into a house in Hamilton, New Zealand.
And he came face-to-face with the owner . . . who'd just COMMITTED SUICIDE. The guy had HANGED HIMSELF . . . and the burglar found his dead body just swinging from the ceiling.
So he started SCREAMING, and called the cops. And the neighbors heard him screaming, so they called the cops too.
The police say they probably won't charge the burglar, since the traumatic experience he went through was probably enough. And they don't suspect there was any foul play with the man's suicide.
