BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS: started as a board operator at ksel in lubbock tx, and worked at all the stations there (just about) moved to houston in'89 and did mornings at KYST am then to san antonio and then corpus christi and then back to houston and then it got a lil blurry and don't remember much but somehow i ended up in the valley at Wild 104. tah-dah

4)Hometown? I live in H-Town. NOOOO, not Harlingen or Houston. The little Mini Town--HIDALGO!!!
5)Still live there? YES.

7)Do you have kids? If so how many? NOOOOOO000000. Maybe one day...far far away.
8)So why did you get in radio and not professional scooter racing? I can't scoot.
9)Favorite thing you like about radio? Laughing my butt off.
10.)Spill the beans on your most embarrassing radio experience? i can't say but involves my button up shirt :(
11)Favorite movies? too many to get into.
12)Favorite artists? Amy Winehouse, Ne-yo, Chris Brown, Martina McBride, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, George Strait, Rihanna, Rascal Flatts, Beyonce, SO many to name and a really wide range too.
13)So you're on a deserted island...you can take three albums with you, what would that be? Justin Timberlake's, Martina McBride's, and Rihanna's
14)Peson you'd most like to meet? My Soul Mate
15)Who is the celebrity you'd like to run away with if you could? Gael Garcia, because he is SO tremendously talented and sexy!!!

17)What would yo like to accomplish in 5 years? I would love to be making music!
18)If you weren't in radio.....what do you tink you would be doing today? Well, I go to school also--and I'm studying theatre. So it's either radio, acting, or singing. I have no "backup plan" I gotta do what I gotta do!!!
19)Got any pet peeves? SO many. I dont like pats on the back, or people who eat pickles.
20)And finally, what would you like to be most remembered for? I would like someone to think: THAT GIRL IS HILARIOUS and TALENTED. If I can do that, I will be content :)

ALL AROUND GOLD GOES TO MY GIRRRRRRRRRRRL NASTIA!!!!!! she totally rocked it....if you were watching though---she and shawn got totally screwed with some of those scores....but it's ok....they went on to win GOLD AND SILVER.
nastia STUCK her beam and vault and deserved much higher than she got...along with shawn johnson on the uneven bars and beam....the commentators even mentioned that there weren't more chinese judges to make sure and clarify that there SHOULDN'T have been any biased scores......when it SEEMED like there was. BUUUUT again....TEAM USA rocked it and they couldn't take those medals from our girls!!!

for the TEAM ALL AROUND GYMNASTICS....the 10 year old CHINESE gymnasts WON the GOLD.....and the U.S. won the Silver.....this can be attributed to only ONE person...

but poor girl *and i'm not going to say any names*

Chelsie Memmel...who actually took part in one event...was doing so with a BROKEN ANKLE...hopefully she'll recover well---(by the way she did awesome on her event) rumor has it that @#(Y%%)%* was the replacement for memmel--who couldn't compete because of her ankle.
darn !#%$% had to mess it up!

HERE ARE THE "16" year old girls.....in my opinion they start at 14 down....til 9!!

here's an interesting video on CNN...about the ages of the CHINESE girls.

AND THIS GUY RIGHT HERE...keeps going strong...if you missed his race---make sure and check it out!!! he now ties on 7 gold medals at one olympics---the most in history----but it was AMAZING....he was about to LOSE and then OH MY GOSH he just brought it back........he won by .01 seconds.........AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

sad weekend.....it's really hard to believe that bernie mac has passed away!

he passed away from complications of pneumonia at 2 am on Saturday. I was reading that his wife was telling him not to leave and that she was waiting for him...but she knew that he was tired. bernie mac was the soul of his movies and it is a sad sad weekend for hollywood. i took this picture of bernie mac at the premiere of oceans 13 in chicago.

DID THEY LIGHTEN BEYONCE's skin for the new l'oreal ad??

OK---so allegations have emerged that beyonce's skin color has been altered for the new hair color ad from l'oreal. looking at these two pictures side by side---it definitely seems to be true!!!

can you believe it!?! well of course l'oreal says this is NOT true...BUT beyonce's rep has NO COMMENT.

if they did, beyonce HAD TO HAVE APPROVED the pic herself.

then, of course, the battle would be directed towards HER and LOREAL.

why would you want to appear "less black"---she would stir up a frenzy among the black community....

anyway....at this point nothing has been confirmed...but looking at these two pics side by side...it seems probable.

many have been anticipating the new ben stiller movie TROPIC THUNDER

well.....now there are BOYCOTTS to the film....will THE DARK KNIGHT remain at #1 for week 5? it is definitely MORE LIKELY now that there are many groups in the u.s. against this movie--that repeatedly uses the word "retard" and mocks actors who play characters with a disability (particularly around oscar season)

in a sense the boycott is understandable---portraying the handicapped as the butt of a joke....yet on the other hand it is supposed to be a joke directed towards not the handicapped. is it ok to play a disabled person so long as it's not funny? i'm definitely confused and unsure about this whole thing...what do you all think?!?! email us!

because these olympics have been FANTASTIC!

how about the men's gymnastics?!?! coming in stron and getting the BRONZE

IT'S BEEN A WHILE...

Since I last updated this whole THANG! SOOO lets go over the last couple of months in a nutshell!!!!

Well I just came back from VACATION in espana :) ...not like that MOJO johnny o said....
i was NOT STUCK in mexico with an expired passport....

DID NOT GET SELECTED FOR EXTREME MAKE OVER

AAAAAAAAAAAND DIDNT ELOPE.

with that said and done, i hope everyone is doing well and recovering from the damage that ms. dolly may have caused. WAS THAT SCARY OR WHAT????

however like we've been talking about, the valley has really come together to help eachother out. it is REALLY important to keep in mind that people are doing everything in their power to make sure that the people of the valley are taken care of. a SHOUT OUT TO HEB thats been donating hot meals to anyone in need and to the RED CROSS and all other organizations that are helping the RGV recover.

ON ANOTHER NOTE: make sure and keep listening to the mojo morning show! we are still giving away those FLEX tickets (which was postponed until August 14th--still at club FUEGO FUEGO!!!) AAAAAAAAAAND

who got a DUI this weekend....guy is NOT ON THE RIGHT PATH!!! he decided to turn left (illegally) when there was another CAR COMING! thankfully, his passenger and the other driver had only minor injuries...he is the one that was hurt...his hand and knee...AND HOPEFULLY he will learn his lesson. because he's fine. haha!!!

SHOUT OUT TO THE DARK KNIGHT TOO! which is totally dominating the movie scene----it seems to be close to kicking titanics butt----which right now is the top grossing movie ever--but TDK is totally setting MAJOR records...it hit 300 MILLION DOLLARS THIS WEEKEND....much of which I THINK can be credited to Heath Ledger----who did an AMAZING JOB as the Joker and although it's hard to say that he was AS GOOD as Jack Nicholson.....he was GREAT!

totally worth seeing...if you haven't alreadyyy!!!!
